Entering a new era of psychedelics with the launch of the nation’s first-ever undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Psychedelic Studies and the opening of our newest community mental health clinic offering ketamine-assisted treatments for patients struggling with mental health, California Institute of Integral Studies is pleased to invite you to “A New Era for Psychedelics at CIIS”.

This community event will feature The New York Times Correspondent Ernesto Londoño, author of Trippy: The Promise and Perils of Medicinal Psychedelic, and includes panelists Dr. Janis Phelps, Director of the Center for Psychedelic Therapies and Research, Dr. Jason Butler, Professor of Integral Counseling Psychology specializing in depth-oriented ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, and Dr. Nick Walker, Professor of Psychology in the School of Undergraduate Studies and the School of Professional Psychology and Health who will help lead the B.S. in Psychedelic Studies.

This event will include a reading from Ernesto Londoño’s new book and will feature a candid conversation about the future of psychedelics in American society.
