SF’s 2025 Free Lunar New Year Lion Dancing Festival at 19 Branch Libraries (Jan. 18-Feb. 8)
Celebrate the Year of the Snake with a lion dancing performance with Jing Mo Athletic Association. Learn more about Lunar New Year traditions, see a spectacular martial arts demonstration and touch a piece of lucky lettuce to start your year off right. The performances take place on Jan. 18 and 25 at multiple locations throughout the City. In January, the Jing Mo Athletic Association will perform at 14 locations. Can’t make our January dates? In February, the West Coast Lion Dance Troupe will perform at five SFPL locations. See the full calendar!
