Bay Area Science Events

Join Bay Nature’s Eric Simons and the California Center for Natural History to explore the Bay on your own terms at Heron’s Head Park in San Francisco.

Walk through the Bay’s past, present and future and admire winter shorebirds as you hike with them out to a panoramic viewpoint spanning the Bay Bridge to Coyote Hills, then ramble on your own through the park’s surprising diversity of habitats while they stand by to answer questions and identify critters.

Free but an RSVP is required. Please RSVP to laney@baynature.org so they know how many people to expect.

Disclaimer: Please double check event information with the event organizer as events can be canceled, details can change after they are added to our calendar, and errors do occur.
