Alameda Celebrates the Latin Community with FIESTA ALAMEDA, an Extravaganza of Music, Dance, Arts and Crafts, Food, and Drinks!
Alameda-based arts organization, West End Arts District, is thrilled to announce the second annual Fiesta Alameda, a free one-day festival celebrating Latin music, dance, culture, food, and drinks. Taking place at the Radium Runway (Taxiway at Alameda Point) with its unique views of the San Francisco Bay, the crowd will be jumping to the beats of regional Latin performers.
The music lineup features:
12:30pm: Mio Flores SalSazz AllStars
1:30pm: Ballet Folklorico Costa de Oro
2:00pm: Namorados da Lua
3:00pm: Chavalos Danzas por Nicaragua
3:30pm: Julio Bravo y Su Orquesta Sal
Plus, DJ Rockin’ Raul Castro will keep the dancers flowing between sets.
What’s a festival without a great bar? Fiesta Alameda features hometown Building 43 Winery serving their delicious wines, craft brews from Latino-owned Del Cielo Brewery, Micheladas courtesy of Modelo and CA Draft Tech, and margaritas and more mixed with award-winning tequilas Olmeca Altos and Código 1530.
Michael Lane Homes is sponsoring the kids’ crafting zone. Kids of all ages will be getting crafty and creative, while testing their knowledge of the flags and geography of Latin and Central America.
Fiesta Alameda discounted drink packages are now available until October 21st. RSVP (free) to be automatically entered into a raffle to win Fiesta Alameda T-shirts — 5 winners will be drawn and announced at the festival. Look forward to Latinx beats, drums and dance, food and drinks, and more!

Festival Location
We are excited to invite you to Alameda’s newest event space, Radium Runway, at the Alameda Point Taxiway! Located at 2151 Ferry Point, adjacent to Seaplane Lagoon Promenade, Radium Runway is the site of West End Arts District’s latest large-scale mural project. Check out the beautiful artwork on the container walls!
Since the opening of the Alameda Point Waterfront Park, and the new ferry terminal at the start of the year, the Taxiway which runs alongside Alameda’s Seaplane Lagoon is regularly teeming with activity. The wide open space with its incredible views over the Bay and the San Francisco skyline allows for plenty of space for people to spread out and safely enjoy performances and activities. For anyone wanting to continue the party after 5pm, head over to Spirits Alley or down the road to Almanac Brewery for a sundowner.
Bike valet parking is available.
About the festival producers:
West End Arts District – “empowering artists to transform the public space.”
Alameda’s West End Arts District (WEAD) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2015 by community member and business owner Sandra Russell who understood that the best way to build community and revitalize the area was through the arts. Blues, Brews & BBQ launched that same year and continues to be the WEAD’s flagship annual festival, attracting crowds of music lovers to Alameda every September. Since then, WEAD’s programming has expanded, presenting dance, theater, music, comedy and subculture events; commissioning visual art and murals; and providing fiscal sponsorship and support for arts groups and artists working on the Island.
