Mirel Wagner was adopted at an early age and taken to the eclectic lands of Helsinki, Finland. Her unique background inspired her to seek out unconventional musical influences. Her music reinterprets the conventions of singer/songwriter folk music. She goes deep with her introspective lyrics and minimalistic, almost not there, guitar. But beyond this facade of subverted taste is a powerful performer.
Her music will stick with you long after you’ve listened, like a lover who slipped away in the night.
