Event Details

The Cartoon Art Museum and the San Francisco Public Library present a celebration of First Second Books, one of the world’s foremost publishers of graphic novels for teens and young readers. Join Lisa Brown (author of Living Doll), Nidhi Chanani (author of Pashmina), Thien Pham (author of Sumo), Jason Shiga (author of Demon) and Mariko Tamaki (author of This One Summer) in conversation with Cartoon Art Museum Curator Andrew Farago as they discuss comics, First Second Books and the creative process. A book sale by Friends of the San Francisco Public Library follows the event.
