Join FLAX art & design in celebrating the 2-year anniversary of their Oakland store.  Grab a friend and explore a world of creativity with make-and-take craft tables, try it stations, informational product demos, and other interactive projects.

• Bring something to get screen printed at the FLAX pop-up screen printing station.
• Special guest DJ’s Fernando & the 45s and MissT from VAMP vintage art & music for the people, will be spinning tunes.
• Tasty treats and free locally roasted Bicycle Coffee will be served up all day long.
• Watch as muralist Lara (AKA Totora) of Dragon School creates a mural on the front of the
• FLAX Oakland store with a little help from the Dragon School kids.

Run by the third generation of the FLAX family, with stores now in San Francisco’s Fort Mason Center and Oakland, FLAX art & design is the Bay Area’s oldest and well-loved retail art supply business, serving the creative community since 1938.  Help FLAX celebrate this milestone with all of the favorite art vendors, local artists, and other East Bay businesses they need to know of the past two years.
