Fleet Week 2011: Friday Air Show with Blue Angels | SF

For the first time is as long as we can remember, Friday is not merely a rehearsal day, but for 2011 enjoy the full-on air show without all the weekend crowds.  Head down to SF’s northern waterfront for San Francisco’s annual Fleet Week airshow and festival.

The Blue Angels will perform around 3pm, but there’s much more in store. Prior to the Angles see the Canadian Forces Snowbirds, an F-15 Strike Eagle, a Marine Corps Harrier, Team Oracle, the Patriots Jet Team and much more.

Anywhere in North Beach, Financial District (on a roof), Fisherman’s Wharf or the Marina should give you a good view. The basic rule is if you hear a loud noise, look up!

• 3pm to 4pm – US Navy Blue Angel
