Join the African American Art & Culture Complex (AAACC) for the opening reception of Part One of Emory Douglas: In Our Lifetime—an incredible two-part retrospective of the work and process of artist and former Minister of Culture for the Black Panther Party Emory Douglas.

Part One opens Friday December 5th, 5-8pm in AAACC’s Sargent Johnson Gallery. Works in the show span the last two decades of the contemporary digital-era of his work. This exhibit will include artwork reflecting modern political movements as well as remixes of Douglas’ most iconic works.
