Osher Marin JCC | 200 N. San Pedro Road, San Rafael

Event Details

Join Barry Hoffner on March 3, 2026, for the launch of his book, Belonging to the World

Belonging to the World tells the story of Barry’s journey to every country in the world in search of connection after the loss of his late wife, Jackie. What began in grief led to healing.

The event is sponsored by the Osher Marin JCC and Brandeis Marin in San Rafael, California. There will be a book giveaway generously supported by the Good People Fund, a non-profit that supports the Bourse Jackie scholarships for women in West Africa.

Attend an evening of remembrance, inspiration, adventure, and the healing power of human connection.

If you’re unable to attend this event, Barry will also be holding a reading at Book Passage in Corte Madera, CA on Saturday, March 21st at 11:00am.
