Event Details

In conjunction with the SFO Museum exhibition Revolutions per Minute: The Evolution of the Record , turntable legend DJ Qbert will make a special guest appearance at the San Francisco International Airport with an exclusive musical set for Airport visitors. This free performance is open to the general public.

Bay Area native DJ Qbert is often referred to as the “Jimi Hendrix of the turntables.” He has invented more scratching techniques than any other DJ in the history of turntablism—the art of using a turntable as a musical instrument. DJ Qbert continues to serve as the foremost vanguard of the genre and has taught thousands of fledgling DJs worldwide the art of scratching through his online Skratch University.

This event will be held on the mezzanine above the Departures/Ticketing Level of Terminal 2 and is located prior to security checkpoints.
