Free iPhone Apps | Lonely Planet Travel Guide to SF, NYC and more

With snowstorms delaying flights across North America, Lonely Planet is offering 14 of its iPhone City Guide apps free to stranded travelers (well.. they’re offering it to anyone, really)  – so if you’re thinking of taking a trip to NYC, Chicago, D.C., LA or just staying in SF, the Lonely Planet app can help tell you about whatever town you’re in.

The cities available are:
Free in the iTunes App Store from Feb. 1st to Feb. 4th at 6pm PST.

• West coast: Vancouver, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas
• East Coast: New York City, Boston, Washington DC, Chicago
• South: Miami, Fort Myers, Sanibel, New Orleans
• Canada: Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal
