Free Movie: The Outsiders | Western Addition

Head out to the Western Addition public library on September 2, 2012, for a Sunday matinee movie. This time around they’ll be showing The Outsides, starring Matt Dillon, Patrick Swayze, Tom Cruise, Rob Lowe, Emilio Estevez, and Diane Lane.

The Outsiders (1983)

The Outsiders dramatically sculpts an intense film portrait of “greasers” (boys from the wrong side of the tracks) in tragic conflict with “socs” (rich kids from affluent backgrounds). Faithfully adapted from the best selling teenage classic by S.E. Hinton, THE OUTSIDERS takes place in 1960s Oklahoma. (Rated PG, 91 minutes)
