Got something special churning around inside you itching to get out? Text, images, objects, movement, sound can all be part of freewheeling “performance art.”
This introductory class will help you formulate your ideas, structure them, and realize them in front of an audience whether that audience is in a theater, gallery, park or street. Get help developing solo performance pieces or, if you’ve got someone you’d like to work with, attend together and explore a collaboration. While they’ll talk about the history of performance art this is mostly a “do” class, so bring something to the first session that excites you.
Six consecutive Saturdays from noon till 1:45pm starting January 21st at Viracocha. All classes are free. For more info contact stan.kap5000@gmail.com
