Event Details

Come show your support for skin cancer awareness in San Francisco! You bring your lawn games & picnic baskets and enjoy the afternoon in the park- we’ll bring the free sunscreen! Please invite your friends, and spread the word on Twitter using #SpotCancer!

The Summer is well upon us and the newly remodeled lower half of Dolores Park is open, so now is the perfect time to get the word out about this increasingly common cancer.

The main goal of the event is to educate the public about the dangers of UV exposure. We will also be providing free dermatologist-reviewed screenings for any skin concern you may have.

First Derm believes that early detection is the best protection in the fight against skin cancer. We will be coordinating this event to support efforts to raise awareness on skin cancer and promote the importance of early detection and prevention through regular skin screenings.

Come by and say hello, chat & get a free screening of your skin concern, reviewed by a board-certified dermatologist. We will be giving out free sunscreen samples and UV wristbands so you can enjoy your day in the sun safely.

Looking forward to seeing you all!
