Event Details

Make your own tortilla with fresh organic masa from the South Berkeley Farmers’ Market with wooden tortilla presses. Cooked beans and salsa will be available to stuff your tortilla.

Bring the whole family for free tastes and free recipes presented by Natural Foods Chef, Michael Bauce.

Chef Michael Bauce has been a member of Alice Water’s School Lunch Initiative and of the Center for Informed Food Choices. He was the main chef at the Macrobiotic Center and Manzanita Restaurant in Oakland and a partner in establishing Organica Restaurant in Berkeley in 1995. He has worked as a cooking instructor as part of the Network for a Healthy California since 1999.
