Join local cookbook author Marie Simmons for a talk and tasting. In her latest book, “Fresh & Fast Vegetarian: Recipes that Make a Meal,” she shares her love of food, cooking, and big bold flavors.

Marie Simmons is an award winning author, prolific food writer, popular cooking school teacher, and passionate and dedicated cook. Some of her most popular books are “The Good Egg” and “Williams-Sonoma Essentials of Healthful Cooking.” She also wrote the “Cooking for Health” column for Bon Appetit magazine for many years.
