LYRIC THEATRE, in our 48th year of high quality live musical theater productions, presents the premiere of an all new streaming of neglected songs from 1900-1924 by BIPOC composers.

Professor of Opera and Musical Theatre, Dr. Michael Mohammed, has curated 19 art songs and arias in their original languages of English, Portuguese, Spanish, and Tagalog, performed by six professional Bay Area opera soloists in a beautiful garden setting.

Composers include: Nicanor Abelardo (Filipino), Bob Cole (American), Samuel Coleridge-Taylor (English), Chiquinha Gonzaga (Brazilian), James Rosamond Johnson (American)
