It’s a wonderful life at the Hilton San Francisco Union Square with the unveiling of the 1,000 canned food Snowman in which the contents of the sustainable holiday decor structure will be donated to the SF Food Bank.

On Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 2:30 pm, the hotel will unveil this unique holiday centerpiece, which will be on display through December 27.

The snowman Canstruction display will consist of 1,000 cans of food (which is equivalent to 1,300 meal-sized servings of protein incorporating chunked chicken, diced ham and pinto beans) and will stand six feet tall and four feet wide.

The ceremony will include a performance by Archbishop Riordan H.S. Choir, the official snowman CanStruction unveiling, and hot chocolate, libations, and Zuzu cookies (from It’s a Wonderful Life’s Zuzu’s cookbook) for the audience.

Although we can’t find the event on the internet, the promoter submitted and confirmed that the event is happening on December 9, 2017.
