The Great Winter Backyard Bird Count

Golden Gate Audubon Society invite you to participate in the annual Great Backyard Bird Count, a nationwide citizen science and birding event for all ages.

Free, but an RSVP is required to Golden Gate Audubon: ggaseducation@gmail.com or 510-508-1388

Kids and family members will survey each site to record the incredible birdlife. A group lunch will be scheduled (please bring your own) during which you will work together to input the data collected into Cornell Laboratory’s eBird. The results will be seen instantly on the website’s graphs and compared with other young scientists across the nation.
