Event Details

Starring 1970’s television actors Paul Michael Glaser and Sally Struthers, The Great Houdinis dramatizes the domestic intrigues of the most famous magical couple and their obsession—for better or worse—with debunking Spiritualism.

The film also includes Houdini’s famed meeting with Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, the Scottish physician and writer most noted for his stories about the detective Sherlock Holmes.

This is part of a series of free matinee screenings in conjunction with the Museum’s new admission-free first Tuesdays of the month and the exhibition Houdini: Art and Magic.
