“Green Streets Jam” Family Friendly and Fun Bike Ride (Sunnyvale)

Come join the SVBC Sunnyvale and Mountain View teams for a FREE family-friendly bike ride full of park greenery, twisting balloons, ice cream, art, and history! We start in front of the Washington Park Pool in Sunnyvale on Sunday, June 26th at 4:45pm.

This ride is open to all! Expect 5.6 miles of surface streets and bike lanes. E-bikes, tandems, trikes, and trailers are all welcome!

The ride will include three fun stations for both kids and adults:

• Start: Right outside Washington Pool – learn to make a flower out of twisting balloons that you can attach to your bike.
• Activity stop: Mercy Bush Park (5:25 PM) – ice cream + history talk. Pick up free and delicious Baskin Robbins ice cream. Listen to a fascinating 15-minute talk from Mountain View Historical Association historians and Mountain View Vice Mayor Alison Hicks. Learn: What was MV before it was established as a city? What MV roads and transportation looked like from era to era? Where do we go from here as a city?
• End: Washington Park picnic tables – bike art. Create gorgeous key chains from recycled bike chains.
