Get a Grip! is about an “underdog” burnout ex performer turned stagehand with high hopes to be
the next superstar. He’s preparing for the big show by doing work he always does in the
shadows. But there’s a big problem: the artists never arrive! Struggling to rise to the occasion as a
result of the addiction issues he faces, our underdog rediscovers his desire to have a better life and dreams fulfilled once again!
This clown show uses physical comedy and circus with solo acts such as plate spinning, jar
juggling, egg balancing, 12ft bamboo pole umbrella manipulation and audience interactive
moments and music. Be whisked away to a distorted realm of this oddly eccentric “underdog”
and his authentic and strange reality!
