Gill Tract farmers invite you to share in autumn abundance at the annual Harvest Festival – a chance to get your hands in the soil, build community, share food, learn, and have fun.

2018 Harvest Festival
Sunday, October 14, 2018 | 10 am to 4 pm
UC Gill Tract Community Farm, 1050 San Pablo Ave, Albany

In the morning you can join a team to tend the farm or creek, or try a fun Children’s activity. Lunch will be made on site with fresh farm veggies, and served around midday with live music.

Lastly, top of the day with an educational panel at 2 pm:
“How Urban Agriculture Can Cool the Planet” with panelists Corrina Gould of Sogorea Te Land Trust, Joy Moore of the Berkeley Food Policy Council, Leah Atwood of Multinational Exchange For Sustainable Agriculture, and Miguel Altieri, University of California-Berkeley Professor Emeritus of Agroecology.
