Force Field is a window to the Megarealms of Maxwell Holyoke-Hirsch.  Maxwell channels inspiration from the visions and events around him, responding in graphite, ink, carvings, pixel, spray, and paint; freely crafting these autobiographical moments into refined narratives. This process has led the artist to perceive each new piece as part of a life-long narrative rather than units particular to a specific body of work.

Maxwell has exhibited around the world and has illustrated for a range of clients including Fantagraphics books, Virgin Records, The Washington Post, The New York Times, and The New Yorker. Maxwell currently lives and works in New York City.
