Have you heard about Craft Valley?
The area in Toyama Prefecture, northwestern Gifu Prefecture, and northern Ishikawa Prefecture is commonly known as Craft Valley. The name was given to an area where traditional culture and craftsmanship have thrived since ancient times, with the aim of developing it into a global market.
The area is snowy in winter, but many festivals and events are held in summer.
At the Fair, exhibitions and sales of Kutani ware, Inami carvings, Hida Japanese candles, Takaoka copperware, lacquerware, etc. will be held.
You can also try rice crackers and other sweets, sweetfish nectar, organic miso soup, sake, and more.
