“Kids Rock” Concert Festival (Redwood City)

For its ninth year, Redwood City brings its kids’ music series, Kids Rock!, beginning with Lori & RJ on Sunday June 26, to deliver Kids Music with a Groove. This show will be MCd by Andy Z, the Master of Music and Play, bringing his high energy to Courthouse Square for the joy of kids and adults alike! Andy Z and the Andyland Band continues the series on July 24, with Asheba winding up on August 21. Your family will be thrilled to enjoy free live music for all ages, along with an inflatable play-land and more, at the Kids Rock! series this summer.

Sponsored by Redwood City’s Public Library and Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department, this series provides a safe and fun environment for kids to dance and enjoy live music from 11am to 1pm.

It’s a fact that multi award winning Lori Moitié and RJ Johnson of Cotton Candy Express Music have been early San Francisco Bay Area pioneers in the family concert and Children’s TV scene for over 25 years. Lori & RJ are singers, songwriters and top-notch performers. Decked out in colorful clothes, their innovative style holds children and parents alike in a musical trance.

The show is a variety show, a sing-a-long, a hands-on, a fun musical extravaganza. With cool props, special microphones, wild wigs, jig dolls and puppets, pom poms and what ever else they can create that adds fun to their show, you’ll need a seat belt to keep from bouncing to the music. They span the entire musical spectrum with their songs. They are an act that you’ll want more and more. They bring the party to you!
