Advance ticket for “Outside Lands NightLife” (8/9/2012) are now sold out. There will be no tickets available for sale at the door.

This week, newly acclaimed folkie pop band Of Monsters and Men hits the stage at NightLife.

After stomping out their competition at Músiktilraunir, a yearly battle of the bands in their native Iceland, Of Monsters and Men has made their way to the world stage in the past year. Opening band PAPA describes their sound as “American soul music with a punk rock mentality.”

Plus, nosh your way through a special edition of Off the Grid, a roving food truck brigade, on the Music Concourse. Additional music by Britt Govea, founder of (((folkYEAH!))). Music presented by Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival.

• Thursdays, from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm.
• Tickets are $12 ($10 for Academy members). Last entry is 9:00 pm. 21+ with Valid ID.
