Join us for a lecture with visiting artist Dominic Riley, Thursday, July 8, 6-8pm @ SFCB, 300 De Haro Street, San Francisco, CA

The Great Omar was the most fabulous, elaborate and opulent binding ever created by the renowned bookbinding firm Sangorski and Sutcliffe. Tragically, the book sank with the Titanic. Visiting Artist Dominic Riley tells the moving story of one young man who decided, against the odds, to recreate the binding, a tragic venture that occupied him for the rest of his life. Join us for this thrilling tale of intrigue and devotion!
