Enjoy music, creatures, cocktails, and shopping as you set out with friends on a journey to the stars and the depths of the sea at California Academy of Science’s “Nightlife.” Get a second chance to kick off the new year when NightLife rings in the Year of the Rat with a night devoted to Lunar New Year traditions.
Begin the celebration with a powerful lion dance performance and ceremony by SF’s own Jing Mo Athletic Association. Examine a lion dance costume up-close and take a selfie with it. Learn about the significance of tea and Chinese tea ceremonies with Fabula Tea, and sip on hand-crafted loose leaf tea blends from TeaLeaves.
