2019 Lunar New Year Festival | Great Mall of the Bay Area

Great Mall, one of the largest premiere shopping and entertainment destinations in Northern California, is celebrating Lunar New Year with a family-friendly festival on February 2 from 10 am to 3 pm.

Twelve panels, representing each of the twelve zodiac animals, will also be on display near Simon Guests Services through mid-February, so guests can learn about the traits of the zodiac animal for the year they were born, including strengths and lucky colors, numbers and flowers.

Schedule:

• 10:00 am: Red envelope giveaway, while supplies last (Simon Guest Services)
• 12:00 – 12:30 pm; 1:30 – 2:00 pm: Lion and dragon dancers (Near Entrance 5)
• 12:30 – 3:00 pm: Calligraphy silk fans (Near UNIQLO)
• 1:00 – 3:00 pm: Panda character meet & greet (throughout the center)
• 1:00 – 3:00 pm: Children’s arts & crafts (Near Simon Guest Services)

All shoppers are welcome to participate in the celebrations. Great Mall will also be distributing complimentary Savings Passports at Simon Guest Services, now through February 17.
