About Baba’s House:
Baba’s House is an immersive community event space and Asian snack shop in downtown Oakland, CA.
We focus on events that uplift our AAPI/BIPOC and creative community, offering a space for creatives to explore and experiment with their unique passions.
We want everyone to feel at home and work hard to cultivate a loving, safe space for folks to come together.
Our ultimate goal is to form legacies, spark creativity, and build community.
About Yăng Shēng (養生):
Yăng Shēng is a multimedia project grounded in the Chinese + Taiwanese ingredients that remind us of home. It’s the warm, fuzzy feeling that you get from breaking bread with your chosen family.
Immerse yourself in Yăng Shēng through the digital experience, our art book (releasing Spring 2026), and experiential events. Beyond these channels, Yăng Shēng is, at its core, a self-nourishing way of life that we want to share with our communities and hope to see a ripple effect across our larger society.
