MCD’s “Mobile MakeArt” Experience at SF’s Tunnel Top Park

MCD Mobile MakeArt joins Tunnel Top Park for a day of creativity out on the blacktop! Get your hands dirty with a project that explores the seen and unseen, natural and unnatural, expected and unexpected.

Participants will walk away with a personalized, planted artwork that will allow you to observe the way in which quick-germinating seeds will form an intricate root system that changes over time.

This community art project is inspired by Design by Time featured artist Diana Scherer and will allow you to bring a little piece of Tunnel Top back home! Look for the colorful Mobile MakeArt van to pick up a glass vessel (or bring your own!) and to select seeds and artificial materials.
