Draghoula is a 1995 Canadian *masterpiece* about a struggling scientist who morphs into a crossdressing vampire after being bitten by a Transylvanian lab rat. And those details are some of the least weird and wild things you’ll see in this film. The maniacal minds down at the MEDIA MELTDOWN MOVIE MADHOUSE know a thing or two about crazy cinema and this may be one of the most insane films they’ve ever unearthed! A cross between Rocky Horror and The Room, this is a must-see for midnight movie monsters! We’ll be screening the official VHS release (yes, we hunted it down on EBAY and paid a handsome fee – but IT WAS WORTH IT). Plus, we’ll be giving away vampire fangs to all crossdressers in the audience so get dolled up!
Before the screening, freak out to a set by Bat Noise, a pair of haunted industrial doom jazz deathwave musicians and underground show producers! Having also played as The Floating Corpses, Moira Scar, and V.E.X., Bat Noise is the most freaky elemental and sonic essential mutation of the outfit. Bat Noise is LuLu Gammaray: theremin, synth, samples, vocals, trombone. Roxy Monoxide: tenor sax, floor tom, vocals, FX.
