Join Egyptian-American writer and activist Mona Eltahawy in her lecture about bridging the gap between Egypt and the western world in regards to women, oppression, and sexuality, at the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco.
Hear Eltahawy discuss her new book Headscarves and Hymens: Why the Middle East Needs a Sexual Revolution, in which she explores the way women are still treated as second class citizens in much of the world, and how we can help change the way women are viewed by fighting, as she does, against oppressive male regimes.
