The Aesthetic Union presents Modus Mécanique: an experimental ballet with printing presses and percussion that explores the intersections between body and machine, ephemera and the archive, music, movement, memory and materiality.
Music, dance, performance art and a live printing demonstration. Featuring printing by James Tucker, music by Goyo Aranaga and Daniel Yasmin and dance by Anastasia Louise, Alexa Eisener, Jacquelyn Marie Shannon, and Darius Sohei.
8 pm at The Aesthetic Union. Tickets are $25 and include a limited edition letterpress print of the musical score, printed during the show.
