Event Details

Orienteering is a sport of navigation where strategy and map reading team up with walking or running. It can be compared to a treasure hunt.

At the event, which is geared toward families, you search for orange and white triangular markers placed by the organizers at points indicated on the map and then punch a card as you find them. The route choice is up to you, and you may try to finish as quickly as you can or take it at a leisurely pace. It typically takes an hour or two.
