In celebration of Native American Heritage Month, we invite you to an exclusive virtual talk with history professor and critcally acclaimed nonfiction author Kathleen DuVal. She will discuss her fascinating history book, Native Nations: A Millennium in North America

About the Author: Kathleen DuVal is a professor of history at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In addition to Native Nations: A Millennium in North America, her work includes Independence Lost, which was a finalist for the George Washington Prize, and The Native Ground: Indians and Colonists in the Heart of the Continent. She is also a coauthor of Give Me Liberty!, a coeditor of Interpreting a Continent: Voices from Colonial America, and a frequent book reviewer for the Wall Street Journal.
