Nesting Birds Walking Tour | Oakland

Discover the beauty, the carnage, and the controversy of herons and egrets that nest in downtown Oakland.

Join Golden Gate Audubon Society and the Rotary Nature Center on a walk to visit the nesting sites. Meet in front of the Oakland Public Library, Main Branch at 6pm. We’ll go on a short walk to visit the nests.

Wear comfortable walking shoes and a hat. Bring binoculars if you have them. Some binoculars available to borrow.
