Nightlife in Motion | California Academy of Sciences

This week, NightLife explores movement, with cultural performances from artistic traditions from around the world. Joining us is Abada-Capoeira demonstrating traditional Brazilian martial-art that combines dance, music and athleticism. Adding beats to our evening is Trio Afro Carribena, a trio playing Afro-Latin hits consisting of a bass, saxophone, and conga drum.

Renacer Folkloric Bolivia is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting traditional Bolivian dance through their performances and workshops.  Typical Bolivian folk dances include Morenada, Kullawada, Llamerada, Caporales and the recently created Tinku

NightLife at the California Academy of Sciences (for adults ages 21+) features music, cutting-edge science, and food and cocktails available for purchase.
