Nightlife on Mars is a weekly comedy show at Murphy’s Pub, produced by local comics Joe Nguyen, Red Scott, and Natasha Muse.

The three members of Nightlife on Mars are the triptych that represents the spiritual base of the San Francisco comedy scene. Between them, they’ve performed with comic talents ranging from Robin Williams to Wyatt Cenac, and have been featured by the SF Weekly, The Daily Mail, and KALW.

Larry "Bubbles" Brown | CANCELED: “Nightlife on Mars” Comedy Night | SF

Guests for the 11/14 show include:

• Larry “Bubbles” Brown – Larry is a San Francisco-based comedian. In the first grade, he was watching clouds go by at recess and realized we were all going to die. This made him so depressed he just laid under the swings until the teachers came out and brought him back to class. He was sent home with a note. He has appeared on over 25 tv shows, including David Letterman and will be making another appearance this year. He was also in the movie The Kiterunner. He appears in clubs mainly in California and Las Vegas because flying terrifies him even though he was a certified glider pilot before stand up. He has been a frequent opening act for Dana Carvey and Dave Attell.
• Jimmy Gunn – This strange, short, manic, man-child is a comic legend, having performed with such comedy luminaries as Bill Hicks, Mike Meehan, Greg Proops, Margret Cho, Patton Oswald, and Louie C.K.. Jimmy can be seen luckily on occasion at Punchline Comedy Club, Rooster T Feathers, and numerous venues around the Bay Area.
• Daymon Ferguson – Daymon Ferguson hails from Hell. Or rather, Chico California, where he was born into a white trash tradition that he’s been trying to escape ever since. Six years of work as a lawyer has taught Daymon to truly despise lawyers. Since making the decision to quit law for comedy, he’s started to feel his soul growing back. It kind of itches.
• Molly Sanchez – A plucky brunette comic taking the foggy city by storm. No, she will not make out with you; how could you even ask that. What kind of girl do you take her for. Her mom is looking at this for god’s sakes. Have some decency you neanderthal.
• Plus Scotty Fell, Tyler Hinz and Stephen Turner
