NorCal’s First “Mexican Food Park” Grand Opening (Santa Rosa)

Roseland is home to the largest Latino population in Santa Rosa. The heart of this neighborhood will be home to “Mitote” the very first Mexican Food Park in Northern California.

The word Mitote comes from ancient Nahuatl language meaning a party or gathering.

This is a place for food trucks and fiesta! Here you’ll experience a contemporary approach to Mexican regional cuisines, music and arts.

Opening Ceremony and ribbon cutting – July 14, 2022 (4-6p) – Free with RSVP – Each truck will be offering complimentary small bites, music from DJ Willie & face painting for kids. Featuring Maria Machetes, Victoria, Lucha Sabina & Gio y Los Magos Food Trucks

This plaza represents a long journey — from rural and urban kitchens in Mexico to community-centered projects such as murals, performances, artisanal crafts, and open-air markets.

Local Food Trucks from the North Bay will have a space to offer you a taste from different cuisines in Mexico: Oaxaca, Jalisco, Michoacan, Yucatan, and Mexico City.

The bar will showcase a variety of Northern California’s Wine Country. Specialties from Mexico will have a spot at our bar. Call it pulque, tepache or tejuino, mezcal and tequila cocktails. This is the place to try them all.
