“The Nutcracker” Westlake School for the Performing Arts Virtual Production

Westlake School for the Performing Arts, sponsored by Artists in Motion Bay Area, presents “The Nutcracker: A WSPA Studio Film” – WSPA’s first ever, virtual rendition of its annual Nutcracker production.

Witness the timeless tale of a young girl and her magical nutcracker straight from the comfort of your own home this Christmas! Follow Clara, played by Elle M. Angeles on screen, as she embarks on an extraordinary journey to meet the Nutcracker prince, brave toy soldiers, enchanted snowflakes, waltzing flowers, the Sugar Plum Fairy, and so many more!

The film features a young cast of WSPA’s Ballet Performance Program students performing original choreography adapted for film. From the costumes, to the music, to the scenery and props, this year’s Nutcracker is sure to dazzle viewers with a fresh and unique take on the classic ballet.

Gather your family and join us for the virtual event of the season! The film premieres on WSPA’s Youtube channel (WspaGallery) on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2020, at 6pm PST and will be available until January 1, 2021 at 6pm PST.
