Oceanic Global’s “Ancient Wisdom & The Ocean”

On April 20th, Oceanic Global—an international ocean conservation non-profit—will be hosting Ancient Wisdom & The Ocean, a virtual gathering to celebrate the ocean as our source and sustainer of life on this planet and honor the people, wisdom, and traditions that have preserved its health for generations. Oceanic Global, along with event host, actress and activist, Nat Kelley, Marina Testino, and more, plus partners Seeding Sovereignty and Cara Delevigne’s EcoResolution, will come together to hear powerful stories from coastal communities around the world, explore the role of traditional, indigenous and local knowledge in ocean conservation, and underscore the importance of incorporating it hand-in-hand with conventional science, to find long-term solutions for a truly sustainable future.
