They do not have anyone available to host this event, but they hate to see orphans for the holidays. So for those who can’t make it home for Christmas you can all meet up and enjoy some holiday time together. Here’s what they suggest:
To help you find each other, wear red. They are also asking if someone can volunteer to bring their signature blue and purple balloons?) Use the key phrase, “Are you here to meetup for the hike?”
Enjoy Christmas Day with some fresh air, exercise, scenic vistas, SF history and culture. Wear your tennies or other comfortable walking shoes and bring layers for unpredictable SF weather. Bring water and snacks and don’t forget your camera.
Estimated total distance round trip is 4 miles. Moderate hike – it’s not tough terrane but there are lots of stairs.
