This historic Pardee Home Museum in downtown Oakland hosts a patriotic picnic to celebrate Independence Day. It’s not free, but the admission price includes food and entertainment at this unique location.

$20 for adults; $5 for children 5-11 years; free for those under 5

Event includes:

  • Barbequed burgers, hot dogs, corn on the cob, cold drinks, and other tasty treats
  • Hear Frederick Hodges at the piano accompanied by Ann Gibson singing patriotic songs
  • Pastimes
  • Relaxing games and activities on the lawn: Play croquet and badminton
  • Raffle Drawing
