Philippine Independence Day~Pista Sa Nayon | Vallejo

The Philippine Cultural Committee is once again gearing up for another exciting Pista Sa Nayon, a Filipino Cultural Celebration, in conjunction with our 24th year of celebrating Philippine Independence Day in Vallejo. This year it will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2010, at the Vallejo Waterfront.

We would appreciate your support in making this year’s event more successful than previous years. From a modest 700 people in 2001, our attendance has steadily increased to 40,000 visitors in 2009 as estimated by the Vallejo Times Herald. This year, we are expecting around 45,000 visitors. Pista Sa Nayon is one of the largest FREE outdoor festivals in the Bay Area with over 97 vendor booths, delicious food, continuous first-class entertainment, parade and activities for all ages. It is, by far, the biggest in Vallejo in terms of attendance from all over the Bay Area!
