Phonographic Memory is a storytelling event that focuses on vinyl records. Registered guests tell a personal story associated with a record from their collection and play a song from that album. Presentations are limited to eight minutes.If you wish to share your story and song please register here via email:

In the spirit of the Main Library’s 20th Anniversary, Phonographic Memory is encouraging participants to choose music that was recorded in 1996 or Bay Area music that was recorded around 1996. Include your full name, a brief synopsis of your story and the title of the record you would like to share.

Free but an RSVP is required.
