Pirate Cat Radio, a quasi-legal underground radio station in San Francisco is hosting their free holiday party at Milk in the Upper Haight on Monday, December 13, 2010 with free food and a four-band lineup including a B52s tribute band.

Live Bands:

  • The Famous: A shot of classic country with a post-punk chaser
  • Private Idaho: B52s Tribute Band
  • The Barrel Riders: Garage / Rock
  • Magnétisme Kultra: Electronic

Free Food
The food is potluck style brought to you by our DJs and interns so we will have a full spread from appetizers to desserts.

Pirate Cat Radio is a studio, performance space, cafe and community asset located at 2781 21st Street, San Francisco. We provide a 24/7 program stream accessible on on the web as well as podcasts of all of our shows. The studio is located within the café, offering public access and participation to all interviews & performances being conducted for our live radio shows. The radio and cafe are run by 40-60 volunteer interns, DJs and Ministers. Pirate Cat Radio from time to time has been downloaded from the web and transmitted over the air as an extra-legal (unlicensed) service in Los Angeles, in Vancouver B.C., in Berlin, and in San Francisco using 87.9 fm and possibly other frequencies. We do not try to regulate the use and re-use of our program service, and are not able to do so. Pirate Cat Radio will continue to look for ways to obtain legal broadcast authorizations for our service.
