Pop Art Exhibit: Sci-Fi, Fantasy & Comic Art | Oakland

Join us at The Artists Loft, in partnership with Dextertainment, for performances by local SF Bay Area songwriters and vocal artists, LexCulture and Olivia Obidah. LexCulture is a hip hop artist from Oakland, CA who started her musical career singing in her church choir. Olivia Obidah is a musical thespian whose music is influenced by Emily King.

This special event is part of the “Pop Art Exhibit: Sci-Fi, Fantasy & Comic Art” showcasing unique, visual expressions by local SF Bay Area artists. In classic Pop Art form, you can expect provocative, yet relevant subjects to be broached such as female empowerment, gender equality, diversity and inclusion, the salvation of humanity, social consciousness, and the battle of Good versus Evil. This Pop Up-Pop Art Spectacular will have something of interest for everyone!

Cosplay welcome. Come as you are or your favorite character, but please keep it respectable.
